Hollow is a 2D puzzle-platformer video game being built for the PC platform using the Unity Game Engine. I was creative director for the project and was also responsible for puzzle design, animation and audio.
You can play a vertical slice if you click the ‘play’ button below. You’ll may also need the Unity plugin for your browser if you haven’t it installed.Unity Plugin Play Game
1 – Its a big file and takes a bit to load.
2 – Right click on screen to go fullscreen (so game plays at right speed)
3 – If you pause game ‘esc’ key, you can access a scroll forward menu on the top right to view later sections of the game.
4 – God mode is for running fast through levels (for testing purposes)
The object of the game is to collect three life elements, one located at the end of each level. Gameplay will involve tactical platforming and light based challenges and obstacles. Platforming will be complicated further with the introduction of light and dark states (LSD). The LDS component of the game involves the player avoiding dark sections of the level, which causes your health to deteriorate, and utilising light sections to stay alive.
