Arnotts is the oldest and largest department store in Dublin, Ireland. The app displayed here was a Christmas catalogue application designed to replace their annual physically printed catalogue.
The app was available for free download on iPhone and Android handsets. Aside from the catalogue the app had an advent calendar themed gift scheme built in to increase public interest and uptake. A free gift from Arnotts was available every day from 1st Dec until Christmas Eve.
The application was also designed to be flexible on the back end to accommodate the clients needs to update the catalogue and free gifts as new items became available from each of their umbrella brands.
